Bubinga (Guibourtia demeusei, aka kevazingo)
Bubinga is an evergreen generally from Africa
(though three species also are found in South america), is a luxury
timber used in fine furniture and musical instruments. It's
also known as African Rosewood. It's stable, dense, and a nice
wood to work with. The bold grain is vaguely reminiscent of
Zebrawood, but without the workability problems.

Bubinga
is fairly consistent in appearance, very distinctive, and a
classically beautiful wood.
