AccommodationRED's large windows are one of her most notable features. They guarantee the main cabin is bright and pleasant, with excellent visibility. The windows are laminated glass, rated to maintain their structural integrity when struck directly by an eight foot 2x4, on end, at 80 knots. They are incredibly strong. There is 6'4" headroom nearly everywhere in the boat. The dinette and galley are on the upper level and enjoy the great view offered by the large windows. Whether standing or sitting at the dinette, your height of eye is about at the center of the windows. Forward of the dinette and down one step are the head, forward cabin, and a storage/work area that Beth uses for art material. Port side aft is a spacious equipment area and workbench, with excellent access to all machinery and the steering gear. The engine is directly beneath the companionway and there is excellent access to all sides and the top of the engine. |
