Travels on Achates

Next   Previous

April, 1990.  Henderson Island.  This uninhabited island was our first landfall in the South Pacific.  A huge high was stuck over the area so we could safely anchor just off the reef (no sheltered harbors here).  We spent a couple of idyllic days snorkeling and wandering around on the beach.

Pretty nice after the 23 day passage from La Paz, Mexico.
