• Added a Big Tuna photo to Fishing in Cruising Notes

March, 2006:  Aur Atoll, Marshall Islands.  Beth having a close encounter with a Green Sea Turtle.  These critters often crawl into holes in the coral and nap during the day.  If an islander had found it, they would have invited it to dinner - as the main course!

February, 2006

• Added a Fishing section to Cruising Notes

• Corrected size of anchor chain in specifications (it's 5/16" High-Test, NOT 3/16").
• Minor spelling corrections here and there.

January, 2006.  Betio Island, Tarawa Atoll, Kiribati.  Japanese 8 inch gun emplacements from WWII.  It's ironic, but these guns were built in England by Whitworth in 1899 and ultimately sold to the Japanese who used them to fortify Tarawa.

September, 2005:  University of the South Pacific, Suva, Fiji.  I liked this flight of fancy that lives outside the art studio.  

USP is an impressive facility, and it's well worth a visit.  I especially enjoyed the bookstore; they have hundreds of books about Oceania, at great prices!
